Shipping Tips:

We'll mention the best tip we can give to any online auction seller, first:

Are you STILL paying for shipping supplies?

Stop!

Get them FREE at USPS.com

What packing materials does this include?
All of the following:

FREE Priority and Express Mail Boxes
FREE Poster Mailing Tubes
FREE DVD, VHS & Audiotape mailers
FREE Tracking Labels, Customs Slips, etc.
...and much more!

Get FREE Packaging Materials from the USPS:

This is not a joke!  Those of you who know this already, probably remember that feeling of disbelief when you received your first free shipment of packaging materials on your doorstep.  I certainly do.

In fact, I remember the USPS guy started getting miffed at me because I had so many heavy boxes coming every day, until my first supplies order was filled!

But boy, was I happy-  I had just received the equivalent of several hundred dollars worth of packing boxes, tape and other materials completely free!  I paid absolutely nothing- nada, zip, zilch, for a few hundred shipping boxes... Yeah, I know... Take a moment and catch your breath.  Now are you ready for the best part? The USPS even paid for the shipping!

Finally, I was able to stop spending money on shipping supplies or wasting time looking around for clean, empty boxes that stores were tossing out!  Its true... Not only will you get these materials at no cost, USPS even ships them to you for free as well.  Sound impossible?  No way... believe it!

As part of the procedure, you fill out a form on the USPS website, and agree that you will use the Priority or Express boxes they provide for that purpose only.  That's pretty much it.  There may not be a free lunch in life, but there are free packing materials.

Here's what to do- finding the link to the FREE goodies at the USPS.com site can be a little tricky, so we have it for you here.  They must REALLY want you want to look for it- they probably don't want just any old Joe to stumble on it, because they want to make sure you are actually serious about using these materials for business mailing purposes, and that you'll be purchasing their postage.  Who can blame them?

Any way, we have taken the guess work out of it for you.

Here is the link right now, at no charge to you:

Click here for: USPS FREE SHIPPING SUPPLIES

Now, as with all things too good to be true in life, this link may change from time to time on the USPS site... Not to worry, if it does, simply find the USPS Postal Store, and browse to the section marked "Business Use".  This is very important, as "Personal Use" supplies will most likely incur a fee.

Next, start selecting your supplies, fill out the order forms, double check to make sure there is no cost for your selection (unless you see some supplies or stamps you want to pay for) and you are on your way to a GIANT annual savings on FREE USPS packaging!

FREE Delivery Confirmation from the USPS

Professional online auction sellers know that Delivery Confirmation is one of those pesky little fees that really adds up quickly when sending out many items a week.  Of course, you could just take a chance and mail your auction deliveries without it, but with auction fraud on the rise, this is not such a great idea.

You can now print postage and/or shipping labels online, and get free Delivery Confirmation at the same time.  You can also print just the shipping label, with the Delivery Confirmation tracking number, and not pay for the postage until you ship your package.  There is a way to do it- just check out this link:

www.usps.com/clicknship

You will have to do a one time, free, software download to get started.  You also need to register, but once this is accomplished, you are set.  You can now print Priority, Express, Global Priority Mail and Global Express Guaranteed labels with or without postage.

So why is it free?  The USPS site explains it this way:

Q

Why isn't there an additional fee for Delivery Confirmation™ when I print a Priority Mail online label?

A

When you print an online label, an electronic record of your transaction is sent to the Postal Service™.

This meets the requirements for electronic rate Delivery Confirmation service; no additional fees are required when used with Priority Mail, and you simply select "Print Label without buying Postage."

Tip: When using the Click N Ship feature to get FREE Delivery Confirmation, consider this: If you mail a lot of Priority Packages in a standard box size that are all pretty much the same weight, have one weighed, and then whenever you need Delivery Confirmation, just enter that amount for the weight, plus maybe a little extra.  Just make sure your postage weight matches when you send your item, or you'll be responsible for the difference in the amount you entered online and the actual cost.

Give it a try, and start saving today!

FREE PC Postage

Combine the convenience of free packing supplies with a FREE online internet postage account, a FREE postal scale, and FREE postage and you may never have to leave home again to ship your auction packages!
