What auction items can I buy and sell on ebay?
Ebay has ALL kinds of items that people never even think of looking for. True, ebay sells a digital camera every minute which you might expect. But did you know they are the largest single seller of used automobiles in the United States, and that they sell a used car every 90 seconds?
Of course, when you think of getting a travel deal online, you probably think of a reverse auction site like priceline.com, or maybe a travel discount site like Travelocity.com, or Expedia.com (see our travel auctions page). These are all great places to look for travel, but did you know that ebay also has airline tickets, cruises & full vacations?
That's just one example. When you need a diamond ring or a gold watch for an engagement or birthday present, you probably check out an online discount jeweler like

The ebay auction site has tons of listings- not just physical goods either. They offer upcoming event & concert tickets, advertising and promotional services like logo design, internet & website services, banner ads and even full websites or domain names.
Sellers usually get their products for resale and their business tools online, because of the great discounts and convenience the web offers.
If you are looking for packing tape, a site like Office Depot usually springs to mind first.
And more and more sellers are turning to Liquidation.com for their surplus deals when they need inventory in quantity for Dutch Auctions. But remember, ebay also has incredible resources for the auction sellers; you can find wholesale lots to break up and resell, and even shipping & packing supplies.
Of course, if you just love to bid, ebay is also a natural fit, where you can find collectibles to you heart's content... Or event tickets, work tools, etc... The list is endless.
